Apex

Marketing directors want us to believe that the high point of summer arrives some time in July, but those of us who wait patiently for that first ear of local corn know that true summer doesn't actually show up till at least the middle of August. Kids are being coerced out for school clothes shopping and we haven't even seen the first non-greenhouse tomatoes yet. I think we should negotiate a calendar shift.
