A ride home from work can always be improved by a game of peek-a-boo with the big, yellow-faced moon that's darting between the rooftops. My cameras (or maybe my lack of photo skills) can never quite mirror what my eyes see at night, so a really old painting will have to do.Not enough people appreciate, or even notice, the everyday beauty surrounding us. At work today, someone remarked that it's "weird" that it's not as dark at 4:30 now as it was a few weeks ago. I mentioned tilt of the planet as an explanation, but just got a puzzled look. Heck, we had a party in December when we hit that mark, sending the ashes of our past failures and future hopes up into the night sky and looking forward to that extra minute of light that next day.
The next day also brought about a foot of snow, so that was nice, too.

Enjoy the light however you find it!
