I wanted to go over Old Stage after work, but the knee and the persistent cough opted for the prairie and the waning light east of town instead. New cows and shaggy horses are good company this time of year, but the meadow larks and red-winged blackbirds are the best.
I'm hoping a slight adjustment on the road bike will help with the aching knee. If not, I will just chalk it up to being old!
